Police Officer Pressley was found guilty of falsifying records in a February 16, 2009, DUI arrest of a woman who had stopped her car to save a cat. Police framed the woman, Alexandra Torrens Vilas, blaming the collision on her. In fact, a police car rear ended her car. A video recorded Officer Pressley saying, "We'll do a little Walt Disney to protect the cop because it wouldn't have mattered because she is drunk anyway." She was charged with four counts of drunken driving and cited for improper lane change, and faced a maximum penalty of nearly three years in jail. The charges were dropped.
